2. Tour Itinerary
🕐 Duration: Approx. full-day tour
Main Stops:
- Ston – Short sightseeing and coffee breakYour first stop is the historic town of Ston, once one of the most important strategic points of the Dubrovnik Republic. Ston is famous for its traditional salt production and for the longest defensive stone walls in Europe, stretching over 5 kilometers across the hills.Built in the 14th century to protect the valuable salt pans and the southern borders of the Republic, these walls remain one of the most impressive medieval fortification systems in the Mediterranean. Enjoy time to walk through the quiet stone streets, take photos, or relax with a coffee before continuing inland.
- Mostar – Explore the Old Bridge and Old BazaarAfter crossing the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina, the landscape changes as you arrive in the historic city of Mostar. At the heart of the city stands the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), a masterpiece of 16th-century Ottoman architecture and a UNESCO-protected symbol of connection between cultures, religions, and histories. You will have free time to explore the charming old bazaar, walk along the emerald Neretva River, visit traditional craft shops, or enjoy authentic local gastronomy. Many visitors choose to try regional specialties such as ćevapi, burek, or traditional Bosnian coffee served in copper pots.
- Kravice Waterfalls – Nature stop and optional swimmingThe journey continues to the natural oasis of Kravice Waterfalls, one of the most beautiful swimming spots in the region. Surrounded by lush greenery, cascading travertine waterfalls up to 25 meters high create a peaceful setting ideal for relaxation, photography, or swimming during the warmer months.Wooden paths and shaded areas make it easy to enjoy the scenery at your own pace.
- Pelješac Bridge Viewpoint – Scenic photo stop on returnOn the return drive to Dubrovnik, pause at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the spectacular Pelješac Bridge, a modern engineering landmark opened in 2022 that connects southern Croatia with the rest of the country.
